Delete your data
Last updated 15 October 2026
ScoreLens (by LniceApps) has no accounts, so there is no profile to close. Almost nothing about you is stored on our side: your library of scanned pieces lives on your phone, and deleting the app deletes it with them. This page is for the few things that do reach our server, and how to have them removed.
How to ask
Write to hello@scorelens.app from any address, with the word Delete in the subject. If you are asking about something specific, say which: a report you sent through “Report a bad result”, or a link you created to share a part (the link itself is enough). To let us find what was sent from your phone, add the Support code from Settings (tap it to copy). You do not need to prove who you are, because we hold nothing that identifies you by name.
We delete within 30 days and reply when it is done.
Photos of pages that didn’t read well
From 21 October 2026, the photo of a page that didn’t read well may be kept for 30 days to improve recognition (see the Privacy Policy). To stop it and delete the photos already kept from your phone, switch off “Help improve recognition” in the app’s Settings: it takes effect at once, no email needed. You can also write to us, but because we keep only a one-way code of the device we may not be able to tell which photos are yours; the switch always works, and the photos are deleted after 30 days anyway.
What is deleted, and what expires by itself
Most of it goes on its own, without asking:
- The photo of a page you scanned — removed from the server as soon as recognition finishes, typically under a minute, whether it succeeded or failed. The recognised music expires an hour later. From 21 October 2026, the photo of a page that didn’t read well is kept 30 days unless “Help improve recognition” is off, then deleted automatically.
- A part you shared by link — expires 30 days after you create it, and you can stop sharing at any moment from the app. On request we remove it immediately.
- Crash reports (Sentry, EU) — deleted automatically after at most 90 days.
- The recognised music of a doubtful, cancelled or reported reading — kept 7 days with a one-way code of the device identifier, never the photo, then deleted automatically.
- Bars you corrected in the editor — only the notes of each bar, kept 7 days with a one-way code of the device identifier, then deleted automatically. Switching off “Help improve recognition” stops sending them and deletes those still kept from your phone at once.
- Your free-page counter — resets when the free window ends; a nightly backup of it is deleted after 30 days. Server logs with your IP address are deleted after 30 days.
- Usage events (Mixpanel, EU) — kept up to 24 months. They are pseudonymous: they carry a random identifier created on your device, never your name or email. One switch in Settings turns them off for good.
- A report you sent us about a bad result — the photo, the recognised music, your note and the device identifier, kept so recognition can be improved. It is deleted automatically after 180 days, or sooner if you ask us.
What we cannot delete
Purchases are handled by Google Play and Apple; we never see your payment details and cannot remove a purchase record from them. To manage or cancel a subscription, use the store you bought it from.
